The ISSCR welcomes abstract submissions from scientists, clinicians, and researchers in all sectors, including academia, industry, government, and education. We do not accept advertisements of commercial products or services or clinical case studies. Please email abstracts@isscr.org with questions.

Oral and Poster Abstract Submission opens Wednesday, 2 October 2024 and closes on Tuesday, 28 January 2025.
Late-breaking Abstract Submission opens on Tuesday, 12 February 2025 and closes on Wednesday, 19 March 2025.
Poster abstract submissions only
Late-breaking abstracts are not eligible for Travel or Merit awards.

Oral Abstract Submissions
Submit between 2 October 2024 through 28 January 2025 to be considered for an eight (8) minute oral presentation in a concurrent track session and present a poster during a poster session.
Abstract-selected speakers must attend ISSCR 2025 in-person.
Oral submissions not accepted for an oral presentation are considered for a poster presentation.
Oral abstract submissions from ISSCR Student or Post-doc members are eligible for Travel and Merit Awards.
Poster Abstract Submissions
Submit between 2 October 2024 through 28 January 2025 to be considered for a poster presentation.
Poster presenters must attend ISSCR 2025 in-person.
To be eligible for Travel and Merit Awards, ISSCR students and post-doc members must submit a poster abstract by 28 January 2025.

Submit from 12 February 2025 through 19 March 2025 to be considered for a poster presentation only.
Poster presenters must attend ISSCR 2025 in-person.

Abstract Guidance

All abstract submissions are reviewed by the ISSCR 2025 Annual Meeting Program Committee to ensure that they meet the following standards. Abstracts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected.
NOTE: While abstracts are reviewed for inclusion in the program, they do not undergo a formal peer-review process. Presented abstracts are included in the Program and/or Abstract Books and are citable.
Submitted abstracts must adhere to the following:
Adhere to the principles in the ISSCR Guidelines for Stem Cell Research and Clinical Translation.
Include substantive results, whether experimental, calculated, or theoretical.
Include experimentally derived quantitative data if the abstract topic is a commercial product.
Ensure results are the work of the listed author(s).
Adhere to Abstract Submission Agreement.
Note: Clinical case studies will not be considered.

By submitting an abstract to be considered for the ISSCR Annual Meeting, the submitter agrees to:
Agree to the Abstract Submission Agreement.
Adhere to deadlines for submission and acceptance.
Register to attend the meeting if accepted.
Ensure the presenter understands that in-person registration is required by 9 April 2025 and that deadlines must be adhered to, if submitting an abstract on behalf of another presenter.
Pay abstract submission fee (separate from registration fee).

Abstract submission may take up to 20 minutes when materials are pre-formatted.
Edits are permitted until the submission deadline of 28 January 2025.
Abstract reviewers agree to protect the confidentiality of the unpublished information described in the abstracts.
Abstracts will become available to meeting registrants via the abstract book PDF approximately one (1) week before the meeting.
Abstracts remain under the embargo policy until the start time of the session.
The ISSCR 2025 Abstract Book will be made available to the public on the Archives page [link] after the event and on-demand content period has concluded.
